Paul Appleby has been active in the architectural profession since 1986.  His first three years were spent in New Haven where most of his time was spent designing multi-family residential projects.  In 1989, he moved to New York City and has been there ever since.  Since coming to New York, he has been involved with schools, large commercial and institutional projects.

This experience includes work in some of New York’s best known firms as well as work in small offices.  The projects have ranged from small repair jobs to high-rise multi-use projects.  This variety has given him insights into many different design situations and enables him to react quickly to new situations.  It's the sort of breadth that is quite unusual within a single office, let alone with in a single individual.
